The Super Bowl – Musical Memories

I love the Super Bowl. We are the same age. Yes I’m giving my age away here I’ll be 46 this year too. There haven’t been too many years I didn’t watch the Super Bowl with my dad. I treasure that time more and more as the years go on. I have been known to pass on other parties and game invites to hang out with Dad and watch the game. One of my favorite Super Bowls was Super Bowl XX when Jim McMahon and the Chicago Bears DOMINATED. The Fridge, William Perry made a touchdown. There was Sweetness, Walter Payton and Richard Dent and Mike Singletary on that incredible defensive line. Do you remember the look that Mike Singletary would have when he lined up against any offense in the league? It was crazy scary I’d have just turned tail and run. So enjoy the Super Bowl Shuffle by the 1985-86 Chicago Bears. DA BEARS.

Totally Hot, Totally Shirtless – The Soccer Edition

Okay for all my soccer/football loving friends, I bring you Landon Donovan.    Have to admit I don’t know much about him except that he came through for the US in a pinch during the world cup.    I’ve just leaned he has no problem ripping his shirt off and fits this category to a T.  Without further ado here he is in all his shirtless glory, Landon Donovan:

Last but not least the shirt ripping shot:

ROLL TIDE ROLL

Yes today we have something completely different. Congratulations to the University of Alabama’s Crimson Tide for securing the BCS National Championship last night in the Rose Bowl. I have to give a special shout out to the two Tide players from here in Pensacola, Trent Richardson of Escambia High and Mike Johnson of Pine Forest High. Congratulations guys you made Pensacola proud.

Props to Texas Quarterback Colt McCoy who handled his early injury and the loss of the championship with great style and grace and without tears. I do hope Colt overcomes his injury. He is most definitely the type of player I look forward to watching in the NFL.

The Stars did fall on Alabama last night. Congrats to the Tide. Roll Tide Roll
