Totally Hot, Totally Shirtless – Alexander Skarsgard

If you got here via my facebook page or twitter you know I am obsessed with Alexander Skarsgard.  It occurred to me that I should be blogging him so here he is the man I like to think of as the Nordic God of Sex (I did take that from an article I read, just saying) in all of his shirtless glory, Alexander Skarsgard

Hanging with Mr. Cooper

For quite some time Bradley Cooper was my celebrity crush (read obsession here) then along came Magic Mike and sent me into a whirlwind of men, Channing of course, Joe Manganiello who led me to True Blood and Alexander Skarsgard but today Bradley Cooper’s latest movie The Words comes out so I’m going to put aside the new and return to a tried and true favorite, Bradley Cooper.  Love the Hangover movies, A-Team was awesome, Limitless, and had had had to love him in Valentine’s Day.  So here’s a little Cooper EyeCandy.  Enjoy our day hanging with Mr. Coope

Happy Birthday Alexander Skarsgard

Until about maybe a month ago I had never heard of Alexander Skarsgard.  Thought True Blood was just some dumb vampire show and slept with more normalcy.  Then along comes Channing Tatum and Magic Mike.  I went through a little Channing stage, but there was Joe Manganiello in Magic Mike and well, just dang have you seen the man?  So it was on to where to see Joe which led me to True Blood.  I watched what I could on “On Demand” it was kind of background noise waiting for the Werewolf Joe to show up.  Then I found HBOGO and started True Blood from the beginning and there was Eric, long hair, sarcastic, a barbarian Viking Warrior.  There were the great lines too, Like when he was worried about having blood in his hair, he was getting highlights after all.  Then there was Eric with amnesia and drunk on faerie blood.  You just had to love this man.  So after watching all 58 episodes of True Blood in 13 days (also carrying on with a full-time job and all of the other extra-curricular activities) I had to find out where else I could see Alexander Skarsgard the wonderful actor that played Eric.  I found Melancholia – Not enough Alexander but he was wonderful when he was there; I found Straw Dogs – A disturbing movie but Alexander was amazing, great acting.  I found Generation Kill – I’ve only watched the first three episodes so far don’t want to overindulge the way I did with True Blood.  But Alexander is incredible as Brad “Iceman” Colbert, he’s smart and he’s funny and he’s just amazing.  So after a month of indulging in my Alexander Skarsgard obsession it is his birthday and we must celebrate accordingly.  Please enjoy the slideshow of some of my favorite pictures including some of a very young Alexander.

Totally Hot, Totally Shirtless – The Magic Mike Edition

You had to know it was coming.  It recently occurred to me why this movie intrigues me so much, well besides the obvious.  Back in the mid to late 80’s there was a club here in Pensacola called 2001.  It was the hot, happening spot and every Thursday night, they had… you guessed it, male strippers.  It was just great fun.  From the snippets I’ve seen in the Magic Mike trailers it looks like that time recaptured.  So here for your viewing pleasure, the men of Magic Mike, Totally Hot and Totally Shirtless

And it case you haven’t seen a trailer yet…..Watch it and tell me ladies are you a lawbreaker???

Totally Hot, Totally Shirtless – Christopher Meloni

I have a thing for fictional cops.  Lucas Davenport is one of my favorite cops in books.  Third Watch, NCIS, Hill Street Blues, Law and Order, I love them all.  I guess i want the hero to truly be a hero.  So Law &  Order in its Special Victims Unit incarnation has been one of my favorites for a long time and largely because of Detective Elliott Stabler.  The man is just hot.  I never saw Oz but I heard he spent a lot of time undressed or in various stages of undress.  The internet is a good place to find these things.  So here are a few choice pictures of Christopher Meloni, a/k/a Elliott Stabler totally hot and totally shirtless.

Loved Him Then, Love Him Now – Rhett Butler

Watched Gone With the Wind again last night. I read the book for the first time when I was ten years old and have been in love ever since. It’s been one of those evolving love affairs. At first I just felt sorry for Scarlett because Rhett left her. Then I felt sorry for Rhett because Scarlett just couldn’t get it. Last night I was thinking if they could only catch a break. Scarlett really got a bum deal when she and Ashley got “busted” at the lumber mill. It was innocent. Then she fell down the stairs. She still wasn’t over that when they lost Bonnie. Then Melanie died. How was any relationship going to bear all of that. I like to think they got back together eventually but never ever in any reality I know, the way Alexandra Ripley wrote it. Not to speak ill of the dead but come on. So here he is without further ado, Rhett Butler.

The Super Bowl – Musical Memories

I love the Super Bowl. We are the same age. Yes I’m giving my age away here I’ll be 46 this year too. There haven’t been too many years I didn’t watch the Super Bowl with my dad. I treasure that time more and more as the years go on. I have been known to pass on other parties and game invites to hang out with Dad and watch the game. One of my favorite Super Bowls was Super Bowl XX when Jim McMahon and the Chicago Bears DOMINATED. The Fridge, William Perry made a touchdown. There was Sweetness, Walter Payton and Richard Dent and Mike Singletary on that incredible defensive line. Do you remember the look that Mike Singletary would have when he lined up against any offense in the league? It was crazy scary I’d have just turned tail and run. So enjoy the Super Bowl Shuffle by the 1985-86 Chicago Bears. DA BEARS.

Totally Hot, Totally Shirtless: David Beckham

Sometimes, I have to work a bit to find the appropriate number of pictures for the shirtless days.  For Becks the problem was narrowing down which ones to use.  I understand why Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world  With players like Beckham running around and ripping their shirts off.  Ohhh my.

So here he is looking totally hot.
